The landscape of primary education in Latin America has undergone significant transformation in recent years, driven by the necessity to adapt to diverse learning environments and the imperative to recover "lost learning" following the global pandemic. In this context, printed and digital educational guides have moved from being supplementary materials to central pillars of the curriculum. The Guía Me Divierto y Aprendo 3 Grado is a prime example of this evolution. Targeting students approximately 8 to 9 years of age, the guide aims to reinforce fundamental competencies in Mathematics, Spanish, Science, and Social Studies through a "learn by playing" methodology. This paper examines how the guide functions not merely as a collection of exercises, but as a pedagogical tool designed to foster autonomy and cognitive development in early childhood.
