If you run into issues where the receiver freezes or fails to detect the update, you can perform a hard factory reset by holding down the button and the Power button simultaneously until "Clear" appears on the display.

Download the firmware zip file from the Onkyo Product Support page . Unzip it and copy the contents directly to the root folder of the USB drive. Install: Plug the drive into the receiver's USB port.
